ACWW Policies

Why ACWW Policy Resolutions are important

ACWW policies and priorities are set by our Member Societies around the world. Every three years, Members gather at the Triennial World Conference and vote on resolutions submitted by Societies. The resolutions which pass are adopted for action by all Member Societies, and will influence our advocacy and policy work over the next three years.

On the right you can find the full set of ACWW's policies dating back to 1947, as well as a link to our Member Resources which support action on these resolutions.

Our mandate for international advocacy comes from our Members, and we work within the United Nations system to help elevate the voices of rural women, ensuring that they are heard.
