CARIBEAN, CENTRAL & SOUTH AMERICA AREA NEWSLETTER October 2006 Extracts from ACWW Area Presidents' report: AREA CONFERENCE: It was indeed a pleasure to welcome World President Dato Ursula Goh and the chairman of the Promotion & Publications Committee to St Vincent and the Grenadines. Their full participation in all activities was noteworthy and we thank them sincerely for their encouragement and support. FWIO PROJECT: We are indeed very grateful to our sisters in Ontario for the generous donations of handicraft materials and literature. We have come to realise it is a bit costly to send and receive and so we are trying to think of the best means of completing the Project in a less expensive manner. PENNIES FOR FRIENDSHIP: Donations ensure that ACWW's work continues and every little helps. I know that the exchange rates in our Area limit us, but let us try.
