CANADA AREA NEWSLETTER November 2007
Extracts from ACWW Area President's report: ACWW Board meeting, October. It was with a great deal of apprehension that I prepared myself for this new and challenging experience. However, the kindness and thoughtfulness of Board members and Central Office staff soon made me feel quite comfortable and at home. TOPICS INCLUDED Pennies for Friendship Fund The income to ACWW continues to be of great concern. Societies are asked to encourage members to support the fund and/or make a legacy to ACWW. Pennies for Friendship proceeds go towards the administration of our organisation. The Countrywoman magazine I am pleased to report that an earlier decision to reduce annual issues from four to three has been rescinded. 26th ACWW Triennial Conference The conference will be held at Hot Springs, Arkansas, USA, with the theme, Women Worldwide: the Voice of Today.
